We start the new year with a very practical study as we look at the Lord’s teaching in Matthew 5 – the Beatitudes, and see how they apply to us as attributes of the Christian life (being Christ-like) rather than things we need to do to attain salvation. It helps us see that we have a gospel of grace and not of works. The contrast with the views and ideas of the world couldn’t be any clearer. ‘Blessed are …….’
